 Acupuncture
Facial Rejuvenation course will train acupuncturists to use basic
principles of Oriental Medicine to do a cosmetic acupuncture treatment.
The practical application of this additional
technique has proven to be a lucrative service for all those who have
chosen to expand in this field of expertise.
Students learn not only a very practical
additional service but also benefit financially from studying this one day
course because they then can offer an additional service which is highly
sought after.
An average cosmetic acupuncture treatment
costs approximately $90 to $110/treatment, thus the cost of this course is
covered after treating a few clients with this very beneficial form of
whole body therapy.
Point selection, needling techniques will be taught for conditions
such as dark circles, puffy eyes, drooping skin, fine lines and wrinkles.
Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation addresses the person’s constitution
as well as facial appearance.
Participants will
also learn how to do a deep, soothing acupressure face massage, utilizing
acupuncture points to stimulate qi and blood in the face. Overall health
for both the body and mind.
Please be ready to give and receive a treatment in class.
Course material will be provided.
 Kate Kent, Dipl. Ac., C.H. (NCCAOM) trained
in Canada
and
China.
She
holds diplomas in both acupuncture and herbs from the National
Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the
U.S.A.
Kate has
appeared numerous times on television and radio, given talks, and written
many articles on Chinese Medicine. She has just completed a Test Manual
for TCM Examinations:
Chinese Herb Guide (500 Questions &
Answers to the Most Commonly Used Herbs & Formulas). Kate believes very
strongly in the mind/body connection and has expanded her private practice
to include what is known as an Experiential Dynamic Counseling.
Kate started
teaching and supervising in the acupuncture program in 1998 and has
maintained a private practice outside of the school, in
Toronto
since 1985.
Course Details:
A letter of completion will be issued at the end of the course.
Please note, this course is for those who have completed clean needle
technique and adequate acupuncture training. Please contact the Admissions
Department if you are unsure as to whether your previous training in
acupuncture will meet the requirements for this course.

Cost of
course includes all material fees.

for this course. Payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard or in
person using cash or Interac. Six person minimum is required to run
this course however class sizes are kept small to allow for a lot of
one on one time with the instructor.
Registrations are taken on a first come, first serve basis.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations on or
before two weeks prior to the course start date
will result in a $35
cancellation fee. Cancellations after that date will not receive a refund. |
