Cosmetic Acupuncture & Facial Rejuvenation Workshop

Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation course will train acupuncturists to use basic principles of Oriental Medicine to do a cosmetic acupuncture treatment.  Point selection, needling techniques will be taught for conditions such as dark circles, puffy eyes, drooping skin, fine lines and wrinkles.  Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation addresses the person’s constitution as well as facial appearance.

Please be ready to give and receive a treatment in class.  Course material will be provided.

About the Instructor:
Kate Kent, Dipl. Ac., C.H. (NCCAOM) trained in Canada and China. She holds diplomas in both acupuncture and herbs from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the U.S.  She holds diplomas in both acupuncture and herbs from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the U.S.A. She has appeared numerous times on television and radio, given talks, and written many articles on Chinese Medicine. She has just completed a Test Manual for TCM Examinations: Chinese Herb Guide (500 Questions & Answers to the Most Commonly Used Herbs & Formulas). Kate believes very strongly in the mind/body connection and has expanded her private practice to include what is known as Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy.

She started teaching and supervising in the acupuncture program in 1998.  Kate has maintained a private practice outside of the school, in Toronto since 1985.
