Clean Needle Technique

In light of pending regulation in Ontario, this course is being offered to ensure that practicing acupuncturists are operating in a safe and clean manner. The course of study aids acupuncture professionals or students in understanding the transmission of disease and how to protect themselves and their patients. Clean needle practice, theory and technique, proper handling and disposal of needles and the proper sterilization of all materials used in practice are outlined. The course will consist of lectures and hands-on workshops designed to give the student plenty of practice in maintaining the "clean field" and needling protocol.

This is a mandatory course for any student enrolled in the acupuncture diploma program at the Shiatsu School of Canada and SSC Acupuncture Institute.

Non SSC graduates can enroll in this course and upon successful completion will be issued a certificate of completion.
