Specialized Healthcare Acupuncture Diploma    Shiatsu 101:  Intro to Shiatsu techniques

 

Streamlined Acupuncture Program Schedule: 
2000hr Specialized Program: streamlined program for RMTs and ALL other healthcare professionals

Course Length: 2000 hours - 495 of potential exemptions in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, First Aid and Practice Management*= 1505 hours with potential exemptions however 2000 hours of accredited acupuncture training.

Fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Fundamental classes start in April 2012, thus allowing students to advance their acupuncture studies rapidly on a part time basis.

*Please submit original transcripts prior to the April start date to insure you do qualify for exemptions in Human Anatomy and Human Physiology. This will allow you to confirm you are able to stay on track with your advanced studies of acupuncture in November 2012.

Once the Fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine is completed, students can jump right into their advanced studies of acupuncture by studying the meridian systems and acupuncture point locations. As of September 2012, students would be attending the following set part time schedule, which will allow them to easily balance both work and school:

November  2012 to February 2013
Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 6pm to 10pm
Saturdays, 10am to 6pm.

School terms are structured in the following way to ensure students receive adequate breaks between their course of study:

January to July - Summer Break for one month in August

September to December - Winter Break for two weeks
