Application Deadlines
Shiatsu Diploma Program - Full time or Part time: Saturday, August 30, 2008

Acupuncture Diploma Program (EARLY START) - Part time:

Combination Diploma Program - Full time (2 years) and Part time (1 year) : Saturday, August 30, 2008

Enrolment is limited and applications are processed on an ongoing basis. Apply early to avoid disappointment. If applying for Financial Aid/OSAP, please have your application in before the mid of August.

Admission Requirements
  • have obtained the age of 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • have a strong desire to learn and grow
  • have received a treatment in our student clinic
  • have successfully completed an interview with a program administrator

Application Documents Required

  • complete application form 

  • application fee of $10

  • proof of high school diploma or GED (General Educational Development Test) and transcripts*

  • transcripts from other relevant programs of study

  • completed medical letter from your family physician indicating that you are in good physical and general health, that you are free from communicable diseases and your tuberculosis status within the last year

  • copy of your birth certificate (shiatsu diploma program only)

  • photo identification (e.g. driver's license, passport, age of majority card) (shiatsu diploma program only)

  • copy of your Social Insurance Number card (shiatsu diploma program only)

Applications without the application fee will not be processed.

*Transcripts must be sent directly to the school from the issuing institution to be official.

After you apply...

Interviews
Once you have completed the application procedure (all documents received), we will arrange an interview.

First round:
June 16th to June 27th, from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Second round:
July 21st to July 31st, from 10am to 8pm, Monday to Friday.

Third round:
August 11th to August 22nd,
--from 8am to 4pm, Tuesdays & Wednesdays or 11am to 9pm, Mondays & Thursdays

Notification of Status
You will be notified within 30 days of the interview as to your acceptance into the program. Upon acceptance, you will be required to sign an Application for Enrolment form, to confirm your tuition payment plan, and to submit a $500.00 + gst non-refundable registration fee, which is part of the students' tuition fee.

Advanced Standing
Depending on your previous schooling, you may be eligible for advanced standing which could reduce tuition for some programs. Please contact Heather Girling to discuss your situation.



NOTE:  The school reserves the right to cancel or change start dates of program if there is insufficient enrolment.  Should the program be cancelled, the applicant will receive a complete refund for their registration fees and/or tuition.
