What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient method of healing that uses needles to balance the flow of vital energy,
Qi, in the body in order to heal disease and promote health. Acupuncture is recognized by the World Health Organization as an effective therapy for many conditions and is practiced in many countries around the world.

In Japan, acupuncture therapists follow a three or four year course of study and write government licensing exams in order to practice. Acupuncture is not yet regulated in the province of Ontario.  However, the Ministry of Health is in the process of regulating Acupuncture and the School management is involved in the process as well as keeping graduates and students alike informed of the process as the stages carry on.
