Acupuncture Program

  • Designed as a 1900-hour program to reflect the core Competencies of Regulated Acupuncturists in Canada and the United States.  
  • You can earn a diploma in acupuncture after 1600 hours and continue with the Advanced Clinical practicum (300 hours).
  • Don't have a science background....don't worry!  We offer the required Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology courses.

Days and Times: Mondays 6pm-10pm, Thursdays 6pm-10pm, and Sundays 10am-6pm (excluding major holidays).

Term 1: April 2, 2006-July 31, 2006
Term 2: Sept 10, 2006-Dec 21, 2006
Term 3: Jan 7, 2007-July 30, 2007
Term 4: Sept 9, 2007-Dec 20, 2007
Term 5: Jan 6, 2008-July 31, 2008
Term 6: Sept 14, 2008-Dec 18, 2008
Term 7: Jan 11, 2009-April 30, 2009

Tuition:

$12,500 plus gst ($13,375)

If you pay in full you will receive a 10% discount off of the price before taxes. $11,250 plus gst ($12,037.50)

This is a savings of $1,337.50

(Canadian funds only by cash, certified cheque or money order)

Other Expenses
Textbooks and materials - Approximately $500 - $1000
Advanced first aid and CPR- Approximately $130

Clinic Uniform
Students are required to purchase a white lab coat prior to Clinical rotation.

Tuition Payment Plans

Students have the option of paying tuition in full or in installments.  You may choose to pay your installments on a monthly basis or by the term.

The monthly plan is as follows:
37 payments of $337.84 plus gst ($361.49)
The payments commence on April 1, 2006 and end on
April 1, 2009.

The ONLY way to participate in this plan is by submitting postdated cheques.

Payments should be made in Canadian funds by cash, money order or certified cheque.  There is a late charge of $10 per weekday on overdue accounts.
